gearing up for a 1st birthday party... already!

Hi everyone and anyone who may be following this blog.. this very very neglected blog haha. I forgot my password and today it finally came to me.

Elorah is now over 10 months old and we are days away from her very first Easter :) She is crawling and standing up and terrorising the dog and her big brother. Both of who she adores <3 She loves having someone hold her hands so she can walk around.
She is just the most amazing little soul. She is a bit of a sooky la la ;) but that comes with having a very overprotective big brother (and dare I say - Daddy as well)

She is still a breast fed babe - but she LOVES her food. So far her favs tend to be fruit and vegies. I'm hoping that continues on for the rest of her life hehe.

She wakes most nights. Usually only once. But I really dont mind. The cuddles I get during that feed are beautiful <3 usually, she is too busy for cuddles!

We have had some drama.. me, not her. I cracked 2 bones in my foot so spent the last 5 or so weeks on crutches.. that has been interesting with a 10 month old! But we have managed. Heath has been amazing.

Sooo... we have started planning her 1st birthday party. Its going to be quite the party with friends coming from far and wide. We have picked a cake (I think) and my gorgeous friend Annalisa is going to make it for us. We are so very lucky to have such a talented person making Elorah's first birthday cake.

For our babies first birthday present we have gotten her a little pandora bracelet. She already has some charms. We got a little elephant one when we bought it. My parents bought her a little present one (which symbolizes her first christmas) and for Easter we have gotten her a little bunny to symbolize her first easter. My lovely mother in law has bought her a charm as well with an "E" on it. Spoilt??? no way ;)

I hope to try to get on here a little more. Now she is a bit older and I have a little more time. Although I have started up my own little business which definitely keeps me busy and during my spare time I love sitting on the floor with Elorah, singing songs, reading books and generally spending time <3 - this is the life.... and it was sooo worth it!
