12 weeks today!

well! we have made it to 12 weeks! I am really happy - I mean, who wouldn't be! :D

I haven't updated in a while but we have had a bit that has happened since the last post.

On Friday 13th November I went in for an appointment with my GP. 10wks 1 day pregnant. During my appointment she tried to find the heart beat with the doppler. She had said that she wasn't even going to try if I freaked out if she couldn't find it, after all, sometimes they aren't able to pick it up so early on - I promised her that I would be good and calm if we couldn't find it.
She put the doppler on my tum and moved it around a little bit... finally, she got it! That was the most beautiful sound. We were all really happy with appointment.

On Thursday 19th November I had another appointment with the Early Pregnancy Assessment Service and we were able to have another scan during that appointment. Heath was able to duck down from work to see the scan. Bubby was kicking its feet and moving about and its little heart flickering away :) It was just amazing watching Snowflake move around and its looking more and more like a little baby.

So.. thats the big update as to what has been happening for us.. and here we are now.. 12 weeks!

Next Monday we have our 12 week scan. I can't wait to see Snowflake again. I'm nervous - but also excited and trying to be hopeful that all will be ok.
