Today.. my best friend Chelle came to visit me, she is home from Sydney for a bit. I was dreading seeing her because of our little secret.. she knows me far too well.. probably better then anyone on this planet and I was really worried as to how we were going to get it past her. I was more so worried about Saturday night, when we will be attending her brothers wedding. I was sure she wouldn't accept any of my lame excuses for not drinking with her - after all, we do have a lot of fun having a few drinks when she is home.
She came in and saw me at work and after the normal hello's and hugs she went to leave. After a quick conversation about plans for tomorrow she looked at me and said "your pregnant aren't you?" - my eyes nearly popped out of my head. I didn't have to say anything at all.. she had read me, she knew... "I knew it" was all she said.
My best friend is so clever.... now, shhhhhh Chellie.. this is all top secret!
